Accessing campus

The health and safety of our campus communities is our priority and protocols have been put in place to limit the spread of COVID-19.

Access to the University of Lethbridge is currently limited:

  • Calgary Campus, which is housed at Bow Valley College, remains closed at this time
  • Lethbridge Campus has limited access.

Before you come to campus

Applies to: students, faculty, staff


Every time you come to campus, you need to complete the health check using the Being on Campus registry or the uLethbridge Safe app

Note: You do not have to complete this if you are picking up materials from Anderson Hall

You must complete the one-time Campus Access Safety Training and attestation

If you will be near or working with chemicals or hazardous materials, complete the WHMIS course

Employees needing one-time access to campus need to request access

Outdoor spaces on campus are available to all, but physical distancing requirements are in place.
Remember to wear a mask inside campus buildings and whenever two meters of physical distance cannot be maintained.


?If you have in-person classes, you can use your proximity card to enter Science Commons and Level 10 of the Library.

If you need one-time access to campus, please submit a one-time access request. Once approved, you will receive information on how to access campus.

Before you come to campus


Whether you are using the gym, helping your student get moved in, or going to your child's ballet class, you are still welcome on campus!

All drop-in fitness activities must be booked in advance

Contractors and sponsored visitors will be given instructions as part of safety discussions before coming to campus.
